INTERNATIONAL-EUROPEAN-NATIONAL-LOCAL PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES ON TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS (with short description):
The Prefecture of Thesprotia is a partner of the I-LOG project “Industrial Logistics and intermodal transport for SMEs’ development / I-LOG” in the program Interreg III B-CADSES – leaded by Marche Region.

The I-Log project, promoted by Marche Region in the Interreg III-B CADSES program 2000-2006, wants to develop innovative service within the transport and logistics fields that will sustain SME’s but still respecting the environment.
The project wants to promote the optimal use of logistical resources through a common methodology and define a set of instruments for SMEs which will permit them to analyse the activities of the local production systems involved in the project (services platform prototype).
In a second moment these services will be applied, at an experimental phase, to the local clusters adapted for the specific necessities highlighted during the analysis phase.
The I-Log project, apart from the innovative single activities created to support local logistic within the different sample areas, will also indicate the necessity of developing a “logistic culture” through seminars and workshops. Most of all it illustrates the creation of a network between local productive systems so to support best practices exchanges and the development of industrial relations.
