Freight Exchange

One of the results of Medintrade project is the middleware platform which is available, free of charge, to all users who wish to make use of it, which is accessible from this page.

During the project the research of the partners focused on identifying a tool able to enhance the possibilities, for transport and logistics operators to increase their traffic and activities.

The result has been the acquisition of this middleware platform, which has the functionalities of a freight exchange software, which will permit to:

• Service suppliers for the logistics cycle (transport companies, shipping agents, logistic platforms operators)
• Users (typically companies with repetitive needs for transports) who need to have their goods shipped

To have access to following services:

• Insert all relevant data for matching needs (type of load, date availability for transport, etc..)
• Match requests for and offer of shipments
• Send an immediate email to companies offering / requesting a service
• Rate the other company according to their behaviour
• Identify a list of potential operators with which cooperate
• Etc..

Since this application has been acquired under the Medintrade project, and considering its scope, it has the target of increasing relationships and increase possibilities to match offers and needs, so it does not require any fee to take part to it.

There’s no need to install anything on your PC: the system is totally web-based, so you can access to it from anywhere.
